FAQ

FAQ | Seoul TTE Dental Clinic

We organized the questions patients most often ask about digital dentistry, implants, same-day prosthetics, sterilization, booking, and first visits.

What care standards does Seoul TTE Dental Clinic value most?

We value digital precision diagnosis and explanation-centered care. Our basic approach is to guide patients calmly through their oral condition, treatment options, expected steps, and limitations so they can understand and choose with confidence.

How do I find the clinic from Seonjeongneung Station?

Seoul TTE Dental Clinic is located on the 4th floor of Samreung Building at 602 Seolleung-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. It is within walking distance from Exit 2 of Seonjeongneung Station on Line 9 and the Suin-Bundang Line, and you can use the elevator on the right side of the building.

What happens during the first visit?

On your first visit, we begin with a consultation and an examination of your oral condition. If needed, we review X-rays, 3D CT images, and intraoral scans before explaining your current condition and available treatment options.

How is digital dentistry different from conventional treatment?

Digital dentistry focuses on improving the accuracy of diagnosis and treatment planning through intraoral scanning, 3D CT, and digital design systems. Depending on the treatment, prosthetic fabrication, implant guide design, and treatment-plan explanations can be carried out more intuitively.

How is digital implant treatment performed?

Digital implant treatment plans implant position, angle, and depth in advance using 3D CT and intraoral scan data. When appropriate, a digital guide can be used to help the procedure follow the planned position more precisely.

Is guided implant surgery suitable for every patient?

Whether guided implant surgery is appropriate depends on bone condition, gum condition, overall health, and the prosthetic plan. After diagnosis, we confirm suitability and explain the most appropriate surgical option and alternatives.

Is same-day prosthetic treatment really possible in one day?

Same-day completion may be possible depending on the condition of the tooth and the treatment scope. However, the timeline can vary based on the depth of decay, whether root canal treatment is needed, gum condition, and the type of prosthetic, so suitability is confirmed after diagnosis.

What are the benefits of the in-house CEREC system?

The in-house CEREC system connects intraoral scanning, digital design, and milling in one flow, helping streamline prosthetic fabrication. With less reliance on outside labs, adjustments and communication can happen more quickly.

What materials are used for cavity treatment?

Treatment methods such as resin, inlays, or crowns vary according to the location, extent, and depth of decay. We also consider whether the area is visible, whether it bears heavy chewing force, and whether enough tooth structure remains.

When is root canal treatment needed?

Root canal treatment may be needed when decay has progressed into the nerve inside the tooth, or when pain recurs and chewing discomfort is significant. The final decision is based on symptoms, X-rays, and tooth response tests.

How often should I get scaling?

Many patients receive scaling every 6 to 12 months together with regular checkups. The recommended interval can vary depending on gum inflammation, tartar accumulation, smoking, and systemic health conditions.

When is gum treatment necessary?

Gum treatment may be needed if you have bleeding, swelling, bad breath, tooth looseness, or discomfort while chewing. After checking tartar and inflammation, we explain the necessary level of care, such as scaling, root planing, and periodontal management.

Do wisdom teeth always need to be removed?

Not every wisdom tooth must be removed. We decide based on recurrent pain, inflammation, decay, possible damage to adjacent teeth, and the direction of impaction.

Can I also ask about TMJ pain or grinding?

Yes. We can consult on TMJ pain, joint sounds, difficulty opening the mouth, grinding, and clenching. We review lifestyle habits, bite condition, and muscle tension to guide the management plan.

Is teeth whitening suitable for everyone?

It is best to begin whitening after checking the condition of the teeth and gums. Suitability is determined after diagnosis because cavities, sensitivity, gum inflammation, and color differences in existing restorations all need to be considered.

What options are there for anterior esthetic treatment?

Anterior esthetic treatment can involve whitening, resin, laminate veneers, all-ceramic restorations, or clear aligners depending on the condition of the teeth and the desired goal. We decide while considering reduction amount, maintenance, color stability, and bite.

How is the sterilization system managed?

We operate a process in which clinical instruments are washed, sterilized, and stored in individual packaging. Handpieces and other reusable equipment are also included in the management range to maintain a hygienic treatment environment.

Is parking available?

Mechanical parking is available only for passenger sedans. SUVs may not be suitable for mechanical parking and may require separate valet arrangements, so please confirm your vehicle type and parking availability before visiting.

Can I visit without an appointment?

You may visit without an appointment, but same-day wait times may occur and your preferred time may not be available. We recommend booking in advance for smoother treatment and enough consultation time.

Is there anything I should prepare before treatment?

Please let us know about any current medications, medical conditions, allergies, pregnancy, or recent treatment history before your visit. Existing dental records or medication information can be helpful for diagnosis and treatment planning.
